I often ask myself the question, is there a more rugged, wild and beautiful location on earth for a photographer to live and work than the Outer Hebrides? Islands surrounded by tempestious seas, and displaying rolling moorlands, evergreen machairs and jagged mountains. Encounters with nature yield an abundance of snapshots in time in a wilderness overflowing with oppurtunity. This website is not so much about the photographer, rather it is about his surroundings and the people who inhabit and visit them.
